Just a gentle reminder that it is Mufti Day tomorrow for the summer fayre. Children can come into school wearing their own clothes. Please do not send children into school in fancy dress, including onesies. Thank you.
We have had fun revisiting the three little pigs this week. We’ve been building, inside and out, and we pretended we were hungry wolves and explored chocolate with our senses before dipping kebabs into our chocolate pots!
We have some lovely raffle prizes to win. All proceeds will go into the children’s classrooms for resources. Tickets on sale now! £1 for a strip of 5. The raffle will be drawn during the Easter parades on Friday.
Wow! We now have three chicks! And the yellow hand group were lucky enough to see number three hatch!
Today we have the video of the chicks streaming to our whiteboard so we can watch them all day long. It’s a really lovely experience for the children.
Today we went to visit the eggs, hoping that we would see some movement and cracking going on. Sadly nothing today but we will keep a close eye over the next few days.
We have also found some frogspawn in a our garden pond for the children to study tomorrow.
We had a lovely time today walking in the local nature reserve, looking for the signs of Spring. We collected some items on our special spring collection cards to take back into the classroom and explore.
Thank you to the parents and grandparents that were able to come along this morning.
The children are having great fun raising money for Red Nose Day 2019. We have played pin the nose on Mr Tumble, designed our own noses, gone on a red nose hunt in the garden and have enjoyed our wonderful red nose cakes of snack today.
The bears (and children) have had a lovely time at the picnic this morning!
